Sunday, First 799-1200 Carolyn Morin Brown November 16, 1928 June 10, 2012 OKLAHOMA CITY Carolyn Morin Brown passed away at her home in Okla-homa City on June 10, 2012. Pierce T. Morgan Daddy, you always said you wanted to live to be 100, and you made it, even though the last thirteen years have been in Heaven. We miss you, but know you are right where you want to be, with our Lord, Mom and Sandy. Any time the family gets together, it is not long before someone remembers something you said, and we start to laugh.

Your sense of humor is greatly missed. Some of the many things we appreciate are how hard you worked for the family and how you always supported us in the things we did. We also remember how much you would take off work to attend our activities, whether it was a school event, sporting event, or whatever it happened to be. But the greatest thing you did for us was to always love Mom. The main regret we have is that those in our family who have come along since your promotion to Heaven will not have the blessing of knowing you, but we will see that they know about you.

We love you, Daddy. Shirley, Sunny Doug She was born Nov. 16, 1928 in Fowler, IN, the daugh- TH tor nf Mao Ellen Morin and Paul Leo Morin. Carol attended St. 1 Brian Blan Smith and wife Theresa of Oklahoma City and son Brannon Barry Smith and wife Kristin of Oklahoma City.

She had three grandchildren Tyler Blan, Lauren Ashley and Madelyn Joy. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Jean Barry. She is preceded in death by her husband Blan Leroy Smith, parents John Lawrence and Anna Ruth (Fleming) Barry, and brothers JL, Bill, Richard and Jack. Mary Ann and Blan were united in marriage on August 7, 1951. They were an inseparable couple who believed in working and living life to the fullest.

Besides raising her boys, Mary Ann had many adventures some might call work. She served as a telephone operator in Boston and El Reno. She then decided she could become a writer. After many rejections she was published in Western and Confession Magazines. She was nominated for "Newcomer of the Year" by the Western Heritage Association for her magazine articles.

Her attention then turned to real estate and her determination and belief she could do anything made her the top salesman in El Reno many times in the 1980's. She was a "working man's" realtor and very rarely sold high value homes. Many in El Reno bought their first home with the help of Mary Ann. She also knew how to have a good time because she and Blan took many trips to Las Vegas. She also loved Lucky Star, Remington Park and her "Oklahoma She was most proud of her husband and her sons.

She made sure her boys had a chance for a better life than she had. Her biggest joy was her weekly dinner trips with her family to restaurants around Oklahoma City. During her last few days she kept telling her boys how proud she was of them. In lieu of flowers the family would suggest a donation to the American Cancer Society honoring Mary Ann. The family has a special place in their heart for the caregivers who assisted Mary Ann during her battle with cancer.

We especially thank Bronwyn Beaty, Li I -lie Sigler, Mary Collins, Star Webb, Tina Singleton, everyone at Right Choice and her hospice nurse Becky Jacks.
