Tickets start at $69 per person, and all confirmations will be received at the time of the booking. In the case of cancellations, full refunds are available if the cancellation was submitted a least 24 hours before the day of the parasailing in South Padre Island adventure.

The actual parasailing experience

The experience is thrilling as you get to witness various sea creatures like sharks, dolphins, or even schools of fish. As you are up in the air, words cannot describe the feeling of watching the breath-taking view down below.

It is customary to tip the captain and crew 15-20% for good service. If you feel that your experience was not everything you had hoped, please let us know and we will make it right! As with any sport, there is risk involved in parasailing.

Each flight is up in the air for 6-8 minutes, and the remainder of the time is spent on the boat for around 45 minutes to an hour depending on the amount of customers on the boat.

Weather: Check the local weather before parasailing. Never fly in rain, fog or an approaching storm fronts in the area. Avoid parasailing in winds over 15 mph which can increase your risk in the event during an emergency water landing.

The parasailers can plummet back toward the sea and crash into a boat or another object. Even a sea landing can cause catastrophic injuries. A free fall from hundreds of feet can also break bones and cause traumatic brain injuries, loss of consciousness and drowning.

A bathing suit or swimwear is the ideal choice for your parasailing adventure. Since you'll be near the water, this will keep you comfortable and save you the hassle of changing in and out of wet clothes.

According to C2ER (the Council for Community and Economic Research), the cost of living in South Padre Island is estimated to be 75.9% of the national average making it one of the least expensive cities in the US.

Usually mornings have the calmest wind and waves, but that varies based on the weather report for the day. Generally speaking we recommend mornings. Mid-day is usually hotter and some people prefer that.

Minimum weight required to parasail alone is roughly 150 pounds. The maximum weight for one person is 300 lbs. If the flyer is less than 150 pounds, they will need to fly tandem with someone else, not to exceed approximately 450-500 lbs pounds combined weight.
