Tony Lo Bianco was born on (October 19, 1936) to the first generation Italian American parents in New York City. His parents father is a taxi driver, and his mother is a housewife. He followed the William E. Grady CTE High School, a vocational school in Brooklyn. There, he had a teacher who inspired him to try out for plays, which is when he began to develop an interest in acting.

Tony after graduating high School, attended the Dramatic Workshop, studying acting and theater production. Tony Lo Bianco was motivated to become an actor by his high school drama teacher, Patricia Jacobsen. She encourages his students to do acting to determine the Acting line, she always supports him for acting.

Lo Bianco was married three times in their life, his first marriage was to Dora Landey from 1964 to 1984. They had three daughters together, then he married second time with Elizabeth Fitzpatrick from 2002 to 2008. He married his third wife, Alyse Best Muldoon, in 2015 until his death. He died on June 11, 2024, at the age of 87.
